3 days 2 night HIM Global Conference- THE CORE 1

Many things run in my mind, a battle of what i should start typing.

many thoughts. many ideas. many reflections.many response.

Attended this GC with a heart that was half drained by the consecutive 2 weeks of ministry duties and work. Plus a stressed up mind for the opening ceremony of GC and Combined SVC dresscode, and that will eventually conclude my 3 straight weeks of fierce involvement in ministry work.

was asked to set objectives, and after much thoughts... i just asked God for 2 things that He would answer me.

one, His foundation and heartbeat in me.

two, direction for mission

Worship on the 1st morning, blown me away entirely. God took away much tiredness that was hidden within my hearts. thus, made me really ready for the word that was preached by Pastor Wilson.

WE are Bible-Based!

we must be bible-based! This whole teaching brought me back straight to my foundation. we need to be bible-based. during the whole teaching, the question that i keep asking myself was whether 'am i still passionate about WOG, am i STILL?' oh my... Jesus.. i repent! i really want to build my foundation right. it would be impossible for me to sustain my walk with God if i allow my foundation to stay the way it is or stay the way i have built 6 years ago! i need to improve! seriously.. i need to improve and grow in the way i build my foundation right for God! The way i build my foundation will soon surface when i crash into situations and difficulties. I need to make sure that my walk with God will be able to sustain all these shocks that come my way! Not just because i'm taught to be bible-based, God reminded me to be bible-based, my leaders encouraged me to be bible-based...BUT because i love God, that's why i see the value in WOG, that led me to WAnt to be bible-based! Hallelujah!

We are Christ-Centred!

during the worship God's presence was really so tangible...i'm just out of words to describe~ prophecies poured in and God showed me pictures of a glass of water that was filled with dirty water, however when God hold it, the water was filtered and cleansed. however God did not just stop there...He continued to stir in us, and different fragrance of His characteristics filled the whole place. God don't just gives us salvation and leave us alone, He yearns to build us up and stir in us our own giftings that produces frangrance through our faith in Him.

Now that i'm studying the Book of Acts (for so long....?) , Saul that i used to really hate, has become the Paul that i really admire! hahah... I like Joshua and David too! haha... until now i've really like these 3 characters in the bible. i guess there will be more to be added to my list! hahah

oh wells.... yesterday had supper with the ex-MJ cg gang? haha.

then we ramdomly talked about blog, and where's my blog? .........

therefore, in the mind of wanting to revive it, i'll post whenever i'm free or when i come across things that are unforgettable! hahah...i have lots to say but i guess i'm really lazy to type out every single thing.

we mentioned names of ppl who gave up serving God with us. my heart just felt a pinch. One of the thing i fear serving God is that ppl around me start giving up. and when i cant do anyhing, i really feel weak and helpless.

i'm fasting and praying for certain issues in our cg until end of june. i think God will pat on my back and says i've done well keeping away from youtube and mysoju for 3 months. i want to see a breakthrough for myself and for the cg. really burdened and heavy-hearted, not in an emo way, but being really objective.

really enjoyed studying Book of Acts! seeing the transformation of Paul, just encourages me a lot. i've been really slow with this book. but i want to do a thorough study and understand deeper in context of this book. now reading Acts 17-20.

i'm having Jap term 1 test tmr!

This year i seem to be able to understand everything much better! that's why repeating the course again is good! it made me more prepared for JPLT 3. i heard that it is gonna be really tough.

oh ya! my bdae party! i need to list out the ppl to invite and book venue! not going to invite more than 80( i hope). i want to make it like a MCG! haha!

so from then till now.... the most meaningful thing..or rather the most fruitful thing i have done was my trip to Hong Kong LC! Not just the shopping and food really that really make this trip wonderful, it was also about hearing from God, and many interactions with pastors and church planters that made the trip wholesome!

Worship properly positions the worshiper. And oh how we need it! We walk through life so bent out of shape. Five-talent folks swaggering: “I bet God’s glad to have me.” Two-talent folks struggling: “I bet God’s sick of putting up with me.” So sold on ourselves that we think someone died and made us ruler. Or so down on ourselves that we think everyone died and just left us.

Treat both conditions with worship.

seriously...who would want to travel out again, when they are just back from taiwan?
tell me, WHO???!
the answer is...only air, since thay're always on the move.

yeap, i was reluctant to travel out again, somemore to kukoup! one thing was really tired, another thing was my passport. I have never thought that i would look so different from my passport picture, but yes, I am. the immigration keep stopping me regarding the pic! oh wells... i better change it before heading to hk!

alright, we went there all on our own. was a lil worried coz malaysia is rather unsafe i thought... on our way there have a great chat with kimm, its always so good to do things together.. catch up with jas too...as well as mich tham. didn really expect a lot... thought just go there play mahjiong, sing k, fishing and eat. that's all!

but God was just so real! when we were there, it was really relaxing, ate durians, sing k. tried to fish but then realise it was a lil disgusting since whatever that was our waste was their source of food! we were really relaxed to the max. played 3 kings. and took a few self-claimed emo pics! hahah. God was just slowing down our anxiousness and pace to listen to him.

at night was a feast! there were bbq food! like sambal fish and otahs!! it was really really full!!!!!!! a great and delicious meal that we have! the uncle there sold us some fire crackers! we went crazy, it was so funny..just so interesting and exciting to do something that's unfamiliar to us! hahah!
alright, after that we sat together and shared what's up in our current life and ministry. was really inspired by joel's missions trip. not just because it was fun, more of seeing how God's work is just so amazing across the borders. kim and jas is still serving so hard! mich, han & me are still adjusting to tertiary life.

Missions for God. Never responded to that before. somehow i feel something is stirring in my hearts? not sure. it's still up to God's calling. i'll prepare well and if God calls, i'll do it!

went back to do our QT individually, ask God for certain things. Dangerous requests! God is a man of word! hahah..oh wells... will share deeper in time to come.

sat down by the sea to chat. What if i wasn't a christian now, what would be me? i'll still be the same old self. one who is self-centered, keeping herself busy since there wouldn't be anything else to do, seeking out for the wrong type of relationship, what else? not too bad what, not a pai kia at all. says who? you? me? he? she? they? the world? because we have fallen short of the standard of God that's why whatever that is bad doesn't seem too bad at all.
I thank GOd for showing me what is the real right and wrongs in my life. a standard that stays true forever.
seriously.. if i've never met God then i would never know what is really good in my life.

alright... i'm really tired! but i just wanna blog down how was my day!

signed up for GoForth, met Pastor Ben! He's so funny..a really warm-hearted person! he was really excited to see us at the conference and initiated that we could take a photo! ahhaha! SG has more than 500 churches, but our church has the most participants for this conference thingy. around 40-50 ppl signed up...

went for the outreach workshop- how to use music as an outreach tool?
it was inspiring! really! we went through a round of introduction and realise that majority are foreigners. and, what's more..they're just stopping-by for this conference before they set off to another country for STM...! i'm really like amazed! in my heart i'm like thinking...maurise, what are u doing in sg?! hahah....

i was introduced to the new idea of praising and worshipping on the street to evangelise! i was truly excited about such new idea! our coach was Aleni, he told us about how he and his group did it in a few countries. and through such methods of outreaching...ppl are really touched and came to know God!

What really left in my heart after the whole session, is that music is something that can easily touch the soul of ppl. even though we don't see it physically that it is going on, but believe it or not, it helps soften the hearts of prebelievers! It gives them some "preview" of what our God is like! imagine with me that its just like talking on the phone, others wouldn't be able to see what exactly is going on, but SOmeThing is actually going on!

hmmm...how do i describe it.... is like it is the basic of gathering ppl.
perhaps we can try it someday? try singing..and u'll realise ppl will hum it along with u or even gether around u just to see or figuring out what u're trying to sing!

Music moves people.
Music moves souls.
Music moves the heart.

However, music should always be paired together with the word to make it impactful and powerful to save the lost!

My first Uni camp!

i'm still in the midst of exam...with my last paper coming up this friday.
my first uni camp was just over, it was a 3 days 3 nights interaction with only God and fellow brothers and sisters...@ St John's Island. a place where there's nothing much. so we're really immersed in the spiritual atmosphere with no interruption from the outside world.
to describe it... it was really me-and-God-only type of environment.

maybe as i was preparing hard for my exams, i neglected on preparing spiritually well for this camp. the theme was Christ-Centered Church. nevertheless, i spent some time praying over what i wanted to expect from God and what He wanted me to experience.

first night was mad rush for me.
Wen jiang taught us on the significance of Christ-centred church. it reminded me on that everything belongs to God and not us. whatever it is, do it for God. simple fact but sometimes we also simply miss it and lose the crux of serving God.

Second day- morning
during QT, [John 3:22-36]
(v34)really encouraged me a lot in my gift(seed?) of prophesy.
i prophesied over water overflowing and on Mat 7:7-8(ask and seek). it was again confirmed by claramae during worship before our teaching.
claramae gave a teaching on characteristic of christ. God ALWAYS thought of the best for us! isn't it weird that ppl always want the best for themselves yet reject the way to the best?

-afternoon
went for "Building Healthy and Lasting Relationship" workshop conducted by Jan
reminded me about past relationship with certain ppl and definitely the hurt is still somewhere hiding there. unhealthy rns is really draining. at the same time i thank God for many friends that i have whom we build on a really lasting relationship. a pity that carrie's intention for me to go for this workshop wasn't met, due to the lack of time.

-night
it was a simulation- on the day that Jesus was caught by the Roman authorities and how the disciples reacted and go through that period with the faith that they are holding onto. so our Cg represent Thaddaeus, someone who is prayerful.
it was like real! haha... the leaders really acted well as the roman soldiers. their role was to moke at us and punish us. that's why i'm aching now..did frog jump, push-ups... haha...
but i guess this is just more than a simulation, it really tested my endurance in my faith when i met with difficulties and discouragements. in the end, it sort of strengthen my faith. i want to be on alert to face such circumstances in real life.

third day -morning
helped out in back-up singing. it was really divine! i've got to say that God is really timely in doing things in my life.
xingni illustrated 12 ways of how God relates with us and also how we should relate with Christ. i just feel that giving time to God is the best.
claramae continue on the next teaching on how to obtain Christ-centred Church.
Cheap grace vs Real grace.
because we're in a place where standards fluctuates, the standard of receiving or giving grace is cheapened by this world. people do it their way, gen-y with a mind of their own would self define Grace to their own benefits. however as a Christ follower, i want to go with the standard that is defined by the bible. God's standard will be the same today, tomorrow and forever.

just a thought.. what is the root issue of insecurity? it is the ever-changing standards in the world that cause ppl to be at a loss of what they should put their trust on. seriously, why then reject the standards that stand true forever?

Mega games!! haha..intellectual and fun! mixed around with different ppl from the district but only talked to a few. got to know more about ven as well! skipped water games. like what i say God always have the best plan for me! hahah! had to go for music prac so left before the game started. that's why han and liyi can't bomb me!! haha!

-night
support sing again for Benaiah together with ZZ. it was really a very high time of praise and worship! God presence was felt strongly! Even though God gave me a picture, i was really asking for interpretation but i didnt have any so decided not to speak up. in the end one of the brothers who prophesied shared something similar in words and verses.

wenjiang taught Christ-centred mission. the great commission. i have a new revelation about it. it really changed my perspective in looking at certain things, really. thanks shepherd for sharing with me.
our relationship with one another is covenanted. we had Holy Com, and exchange cups with one another to express our thanks and apologies. I really love this family of Hope;)

on the whole....
got to know hui min a little better, slept beside her and we're both fast sleeper! haha, the moment our head hit the pillow, we're already in lala land! haha!
i guess it was a pity that i didn get the chance to share a bit with carrie.

after reflecting here, i realise God has somehow helped me reached my objectives, not totally yet, but yes.

i guess while sharing with ZZ's cg and to jun yao, i was too fast to conclude my emotions for my objectives. i really didn't see the picture until i start re-going through my notes and what i wrote. so initially, i was a lil disappointed that none of my objectives were met.

many differences between uni and youth camp, but God is still the same, ever so real.

this whole week, was about VISION.
Last week, pastor Jeff preached about having vision. wisdom. discipleship. and what? cant remember...
i was..... guilty......... those visions that God gave me were not fulfilled, yet again.
i thought about our MJ vision. that was something i really held on for years, i told God i really wanna see MJ grow from glory to glory. Hit 15 was the goal. we were once close though. not being able to see the vision coming to pass before i moved on to tertiary, was one big disappointment for myself.
oh wells..... it's just an undescribeable feeling of really wanting to fulfil the vision and yet done nothing in the end.

just read gay's blog, talkitng about the chronicles of TPJC.
yeah, indeed when we were asked to be CLs, we were like idiots.
But God really transform us.
we were excited to start and yet know nothing about everything.

the person that was sitting beside us ytd might be in God's plan the next pastor? the next church planter? we would never know unless we try.

yesterday's CG was also about vision, carrie asked us to write down our visions but in the end i did not write down about my vision for MJ. wanted to, but i thought it was weird in that setting. coz since i'm already in SIM CG i ought to be focused in it, but......i guess i really need time.

many things came to mind and shared but it looks like my illustrating and communicating skills are bad, so half the time liyi have to re-phrase it for me. oh wells....... i shall go rearrange my thoughts and blog about it, so that even i can understand what i'm trying to express...

perhaps writing down what i wanna say will help me improve in my expresions of feelings and thoughts.

alright...welll...instead of counting down to start of exams, i'll do it slightly different by looking beyond.
i'm desperately hoping to throw my books aside and just rest!
at the same time, i wanna enjoy this time to do it with God! Exams are just one exciting period to walk closer with God.
Some chuck God aside and do it their way, others do it with God and for God.
i chose the latter.

anyway, was reading East A blog recently and really it's becoming more happening and interesting! I'm really keeping their Operation Die-hard in prayers, especially for MJ! you girls can do it! building God's kingdom from glory to glory and it should really starts from where we are! ever since the start of april, i have never been able to stay home past 10am and reaching home before 10pm. school, tuition, language classes, cg & service( which i enjoyed the most!)they have all beefed up my schedule book for the past 2 weeks! and this coming 3rd week as well...but it's less busy! in any case... i'm glad i still hang on quite well.

my life:
10am-4pm: school
6-9.30pm: tuition or language
10-11pm: TV!!
11pm-3am: study....

basically i'm not a mugger! even though i studied till 3am, but i started late! so...yes!
this continued for 2 weeks and last week when i saw guan zhen in school, she asked me about my panda eye...even when i have concealed it! bwahwawa~! i must get my beauty sleep!!

suddenly feel that i'm not as energetic as last time. i used to be able to take it even without much sleep for the whole week...now i'm a bit like cannot take it le~! hahaha...so i must sleep!!! hahahha...
i've got so much more to study! hahah! ok la..i'm really mugging hard!!

after exam i'm gonna find those pics that we took during jes bdae and the farewell.... then post it up! hahha...likethat i done have to save the pics! i can just take from my website!! cool! hahah!

my bro got into BMT and i passed him my bible, so that he could read since he forgotten to bring his. then for the past few days i just couldnt find it, so it was tough living when i dont see the bible, a bit like something is missing! but now it's found!! hahah...using my bro's one!

God is good.

it's beyond words that i can use to express God's goodness in my life.
attended my 5th Easter service on sat. but it feels just as like the first time.
pastor jeff preached. The sermon title was ' The Great Expectations of Easter'. And the sentence that really hit me was " Don't try to shape God into who we imagine Him to be." i guess many time, we often expect God to meet the criteria of what we think God should be like. but seriously God dont work in this manner!

Most importantly, God spoke to me too! i was reminded on how his mercy and grace was with me. I'm somebody that used to live a i-dont-need-god life. HowEver...after tasting God's love for me, all i want is to stubbornly hanging on to this faith.

so...today i'm gonna shout out loud to myself , "Let God be God!" remember!

God showed me this verse and i really feel good and comforted.
i've been on a fast for the past one week and i really feel much more strengthened and focused in what i'm asking God for. God has been really kind to show me many confirmation of this gift that i'm asking for. as i was studying the book of Ephesians i really see how Paul really love God and how he really have joy in every situation he is in! then i began to think about my own life...then i feel bad! haha... but i don't want to feel pessimistic about things i still wanna find hope in God!

exams..exams' here! haha... struggling but i'll hang on... i've decided i'll complete all the books about Paul then go on to study more about Paul. i'm sure by then, i can reward myself with a new bible... a study bible...! yay!!

alright... just went for my first district meeting yesterday...
hmmm.... environment is different but the work we do is ultimately the same... and i'm definitely excited to be involved in GOd's work!
it's been quite sometime that i do such evangelising.. i mean..yes..i did evangelise when i'm in youth is just that ever since i left MJ, i dont really have such chances to do it on the ground myself! and now i really can do it myself! i feel good!

i realise i have been blogging quite consistently... haha..it's always like that a periodic one.... soon i'll blog once a month...haha..anyway was listening to Pastor Wayne audio Sermon on "The Power of Words" on my way to meeting yesterday. and seriously i'm addicted to listening to audio sermon recently. i'll listen to it and blog down the really good points, i cant really rem stuff unless i write it down....

but one thing that really set me into thoughts is that words from anyone can really bring life and death. this is a no doubt! recently have been helping some young friends in their emotions, and from them i really see how much potentials they have. however just because of how people around them like family or even close friends who put them down, they have lost some confidence in themselves... i'm really sad when i heard about stories like that. oh wells..... they really gotta know that God really is the one and He loves his children!

really unbearable to leave, thank god for this big family that contributed to a big part of my teen life! read the scrapbook that they gave me, and i was surprise how they got hold of my old pictures! haha... some really spastic but it really brought back lots of funny moments then!

i guess kim changed the most in terms of look..hahha...but i really thank her in my life for those times that we quarrell and gay together! yay! i know i'll miss serving alongside with her!

yesterday was the last ESS. i was really sad that my cg still has no NB! during altar call, i was like "WHY?!..." i feel a lil discouraged but at least the 2 guy that attended our service are open to us! so i still thank god for sending them! i believe its no coincidence..so i'm really fasting and praying for my cg!!

anyway, i'm moving on to Carrie's CG..meaning i'll be serving really closely with skinny and my ugly friend! haha! i'm really excited about this whole new journey. so meaning next week..i'll be attending my last CG session with kang, liting, cat, wei, grace and elaine. i hope my tears will not sabo me! =X haha... it'll also be my last service with the youth, with ppl like kim, jas, dovey, huiqi, team B, singers, fortune lee, amelia.... & really a lot of the fun ppl! meaning i have whole lot of ppl to write card to! haha...alright! i will still write something for all even in the midst of my prelims which is killing me!!! hahah

REally like this band! they're called the Clazziquai Project. They became more famous in many parts of Asia due to the drama " My Name is Kim Sam Soon!"..becoz of the ending song "She is". They have lots of other songs that are really light and pleasant. My impression of korean songs are really like...emo...and emo.... those that are really sad? Especially songs from this singer, Howl. But CP is quite different in the genre of songs they produce/sing... they added more pop, classical, jazz elements in their music! so it really makes it more up-beat when listening to their songs!

long time since i last blog. actually i sort of forgottena ll about my own blog! i went visiting everyone's blog except mine! hahah...until kim and liyi come and ask me whether i've replied their comments! haha...i really wanna blog more often but i'm really lazy! haha! but i must do it so that i can constantly count my blessings! heehee!

jan past quite fast i thought... really trying to catch up with studies for the whole month coz my prelims are coming and seriously speaking i'm really nervous and stressed up! I CAN DO IT! I WILL STUDY HARD!

beginning of the month we had a FCM( fanclub meet) haha... an internal joke within the cg! so we talk about resolution which i posted it up already! i dont exactly like the idea of setting resolutions...i mean i often do it for my own growth...but in any case set it. then we also talked about our common issues about punctuality... i'm really glad that everyone was responsive in regarding constantly being late. so as a Cg we came up with the idea of bing fined when we're late! haha! and IT WORKS! haha..i have no idea why it worked better than forfeits?! hahah

As a Cg we also want to build up spiritual growth, so i suggested that we start a round-'bout-e-bible-with-my-journal campaign! All of us have our own journal where we write about our QT and pass it down. so each week i wrote about my QT in different journal! haha...really interesting to find out what they learn! hahha!

we had a baking cg on the last week of JAn! haha..pictures shall speak on my behalf!

actually my intention was just to have fun while baking, but i'm glad my ppl are more loving than me! haha...they did it to bless ppl in school!

signed up for korean beginners lesson! the lesson are really so interesting! hahah! i think the teacher really teach very well! pronounciation is a little difficult but no so much with grammar! haha. also continued on with advanced Jap lesson at JCS! i think jap grammar are really diff...totally struggling... but i think i'm starting to catch up! hahah...and guess what? i got the same teacher again! haha..she has become prettier i think... haha!

Our new unit structure is out as well! i'll be moving on to tertiary on which 1 mar would be my last service with the whole youth! hmmmm...it came as a shock for me! i mean like i know i'll be moving on in any case, but it was a short notice for me. so yeap..but i'm really looking forward to have a different type of experience with God. futhermore many of my buddies are there...see! and i'm really giving many careful thoughts about continuing to serve in singing ministry. God u need to send in more confirmation! being on stage is really out of my comfort zone..so must really think well!

2008, it's my new year!

Isn't it fast that 2008 is already here? and seriously.. i'm already 20! haha..not much feeling about it actually but ppl around are really concern about having the big 2 of their life! haha! i'm seriously fine.... not yet seeing the big issues of being in my 20s! haha! anyway.. that's beside the point!

today went out with the old eastA girls! we had Dim sum buffet at harbour front! it's not just about the food...actually the food is not really that fantastic...but anyway had lots of laugh during this whole meet up! they're really funny! It was such a pleasing sight to see us gathering tog and chatting about our life..and not only whole load of crap spoken, but also interesting happenings in each of our ministry that we're serving in! really get to see how God is so amazing in each and every of our life! after that we went shopping and i bought a pair of shoe!! hehee! seriously i'm really carzy about shoes! haha...still in process of collecting until i have a least all colours of shoes! so far... i have 15 pairs already! they are my precious collections! although dont really wear them but it still feel good to look at them! haha! i'm crazy! shopping is also a great way to spot different personalities! haha! was shopping with jas, kim, liyi. its such a long time since i last shop with them!

anyway... after that i met up with Jes and Liyi... they are officially in my cargroup! hahah... i guess it was a really a fruitful meet up! we shared many deep feelings, struggles and random thoughts about ministry and our own spiritual life! My new year resolution.. hmmm... to serve God harder?

Yesterday's sermon was really an impactful one for me to start right together with God!
I really want to have a much more vibrant relationship with God!!
so..God keep me with u! God keep me in ur plans!

1. Studies / Career
I'm gonna have a final exams in May and i really want to do well for it. Perhaps not just well but to the very best! really anticipate to see how God will use this period to prune and mould me... i really want to study hard! serious. besides saying that i'll have faith and trust, this time round i really wanna show spirit of exellence in my studies and watch less dramas!! yes!!
As for career wise.... not much but i'll continue to spread God's love to my colleagues and boss! not just being a responsible employee but also to be a considerate person! and through that i hope to see that they will be amazed at how God has really brought me up well as a christian!

2. Relationship
this year... i really want to build a stronger friendship with my uni friends! i think they're also another bunch of friends that i dont want to lose! and i 'm really praying hard for God to empower me with more social skills to relate better with people around me. i guess i need to be more secured when i'm with non-church friends. so pray for me, people! and also to relate better with guys... i think that is needed so that i can really be prepared to build a strong MJ guys cg! haha!! yay!! revival!

3. Finance
One of my major resolution is really to save lots of money. that's a must for me actually! independence starts officially this year...as i won't be receiving any more allowance from my mother... so budget is tight for me, BUT i'll not forget to give to God!! So..if u see me splurge on things, remind me! haha!

4. Spiritual
i want to be really faithful in spending time with God and to increase my QT! another thing is to improve my leadership skills in area like teaching and passing down wisdom from God!

5. Health
health is really something i put last in agenda.... or sometimes not even in consideration. hmm, i want to sleep early and wake up early and not the other way! i also want to be fit! increasing my stamina for doing stuff. perhaps i shall join at least one marathon this year...hahah!
alright! that's about it... but definitely not all yet! i'm really in anticipation that there'll be more ahead for me as i continue to allow God to use me! so God... count me in! haha!

December, just exciting!

Our most exciting and most anticipated event! It's our youth camp! Really looked forward for it, had lots of preparation for it as well... in terms of vocally and also spiritually! X29 - It's our chapter! to me being in relationship with God is like in Lalaland... what's more being soaked in the presence of God for wholly 4days 3nights? totally awesome and cool! like Ultra Lalaland! haha! this time round my CG had 2 new members joining us! Grace and Elaine! really great! having cup noodles, having long and deep chats until most of us start to talk nonsense...haha...all these were really memorable memories in my mind! even though, we're tired, we still remember to share about what we learn each day!

the most highlighted one! Christmas!!!! yay! receive lots of presents as well as gave out lots of presents too! haha...this month was really a hectic month for me! even though there was only two weeks of school but there were a few retreats, a few meet up, and many unit and Cg celebrations!

singers retreat was at my house this time round! we had a great time of playing and interacting with one another! hahah! it was simply so fun! we also shared about some difficulties and problems we faced as we're serving in this ministry. through all these chats, i know that i'm not alone fearing or having uncertainty!

Ywam retreat was the week after it. and it was my first time being there... or was it the first time we have ywam retreat? it was really fun to interact with everyone! haha..the most memorable game was the curtain game! hahah.... i think everybone is so lame! haha! and we went to minds cafe to play board games...and also went to watch I am Legend that movie! quite nice to watch but i dont think it worth 9.50 bucks, but for the fellowship, it's worth it!

Yay! it's time to update the happenings in Nov!! hahah... just wanna keep these memories somewhere so that i can always look back and say : Wow! God u're really amazingly good!" haha!

It was really fun to work in Jurong birdpark! and it was with my lovely CG girls and han han! hahah! totally cool and exciting to work with ppl that u're close with! not just friends or close friends but they are sisters that serve together with me! hahah! get to know each of them better too during this whole event! Was blessed to be stationed at the Lorry Loft together with Grace!! Haha..! had a chance to feed the Lorries( a type of bird..not those truck, lorry we see on the road..haha)... they're just so excited with the food on my hand that they start to fly to my shoulders..so scary! =X hahah! So fun to be at JBP again after so many years!

And finally we have our Hope Choir Outing. but sadly only less than 20 ppl were there... but it's okie! i had lots of fun with the adults and the tertiary ppl! we went to Escape theme park. I haven't been there...like for almost half a decade?hahah... nothing much change there...the rides were fine too..not as enjoyable as the one in Lotte World! but...i really enjoyed the fellowship! hahah! We went for lunch at Sakae too! and thank god for the working adults!! hahah..they gave all the students there, like me a treat!cool! Love them!! haha! Great food.. not just because they are nice..but because i had it together with a bunch of lovely ppl!

Jap final exams...hmmm...was really struggling... i have to admit as much as i like the language and their J-pop... IT IS TOUGH!! haha... esp during oral... i totally dont catch them at all...i understand totally what they were asking... but to reply it in Jap..is totally a different thing! hmm...just like the brain is yours..but too bad the mouth isn't... this type of feeling! haha...then came the listening part..it was fine.. far much better! written was a bit like by feeling! hahah...studied really hard...guess what?! i passed the exam!!! haha... so meaning i'm going on to intermediate next year! haha.. but xin says it's gonna be much more difficult, so..... dont know..just need to push harder and study! God will bless me! haha!

it was also a month full of prayers...especially for those ppl having exams..! had a short retreat with my buddies..liyi and jes! was really happy and encouraged to meet up with them! We had korean cuisine and ice kacang!! although it was really just a few hours, we had many thoughts and talks to exchange! having to know more about their spiritual life after a quater in tertiary environment... stuff like that.. and it is also times like this that i'm really exposed to the truth about my age! haha...seriuosly, serving in youth ministry..even when i'm with peers od my same age, i would often think that i'm younger! haha... really appreciate this 2 spiritual buds in my life.. sometimes... things dont always go well even in Lalala land... but because i have my buds around, we face it together and hold on to god closely! it's really good!

isn't this part of the song " How can i keep singing" powerful?! Corporate prayer meet on last friday was really powerful and amazing! even though it was a lil sad that i was the only one to go from my CG, but its fine...God really comforted me a lot. God keep reminding me of a certain area that i've been running away from for a long time... it was difficult to obey, but Pastor Jas kept reminding us about obeying Him and claiming His promise. It was a struggle before i finally really ask God for help to build up that area in my life. I really want to be strong in prophecies so that it may be good help to not only myself but also for others that needed my word of encouragement.

oh ya... just in case i anyhow throw my moments of thoughts, i should just blog it up! Was really bored during work on thurs, so took out my bible to read Genesis and this verse really set me to think and gave me a new light in handling stuff! Gen 2:3"And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done."

Revelations: Even God set aside one full day for rest. Before God did that, He finish everything that was needed to be done! He really gave His all and best and he had a great rest!

Moral of the verse: Complete what we have to do and have a good rest! HAaha!

Thoughts and talks: Many at a time, we do things half way and asked for half time, or even sometime in the midst of our work we are distracted and leave our work hanging there. Are we considered lazy or just simply not persevering enough? But on the other hand, we can be embarrassed that we're the only one doing to the best?and so in order to blend in, we compromise with our standards and the determination to do it to our best? So what? so how? then I'm reminded of what Pastor Jasmine said during one of our recent service, "Don't look left or right, why not look up to God for strength?" Yeah! I want to do it well to please God!

Last 2 saturdays were our church SPecial Service so that we can invite our pre-believing friends to taste a lil of God's goodness!

I really feel blessed that our Cg finally has one guy convert! his name is cheng yew!! haha! really really very happy that i just broke down in tears! i've been really praying and asking God for one to start with! SO my Cg really fast and prayed together! the feeling of seeing one person crossing the line of salvation is just too wonderful! it's not just about how many ppl knowing God but is the new life that God is gonna touch! haha! Great! God is just too Good for me!! haha!

Pastor Jasmine preached during sermon last sat and it sorta hit me big time, couldn't really sleep at night..was too...not disturbed..but just couldn't get to sleep....

Learning the art of comparison... which is not to compare! i've mastered it halfway before hearing the sermon, but after receiving the teaching i want to master it fully! haha! seriously..why should i compare?! There's no use in looking left or right! I just wanna look up to God for contentment! Amen!

the second point really struck me..which is learn to adapt to changes. I'm always readily adapting to new environment... i thought. But for people who knows me well..know that i truly, seriously, totally don't appreciate last minute work or assignment. I'll still do it to my best but with a partially angry spirit. So while listening to what pastor jas is saying, i started to question myself about being always ready to receive last minute things...although i really hate it because i couldn't really give my best for it i guess i still want to be flexible and adjust to it! i dont want to be victimised by my circumstance! afterall there are many things in life that i cannot control!

Still... i'm really contented with life..enjoying it to the fullest! God, Why do u love me soOo much?! haha!

hahha! it was really fun yest during our unit gathering! It was our turn to perform for this week's gathering! so our Caregroup decided to have some soap skit and a funny dance!!! haha...we tried really hard..or rather...its me trying really hard! (anyway taking up dance class soon!) We had a short dance and some "breakdance"! haha! It was really very entertaining..i guess...from the feedback of edwin and justina and shanrui! hahaha! We'll try harder the next time!

Anyway we used the song Passion from Se7en! haha! i seriously think he's good! but ppl keep commenting..NVM! hahah.. enjoy listening to his voice and songs and those dance!

Got to know him through the korean drama Goong S! watched it in Jan this year but since Channel U is showing now.. i shall just watch it! haha! really enjoy it! initially when i talk about him to the CL team and my CG... nobody appreciate it...sad...but now they are telling me different stories!! hahaha...so happy!!! now i can have more ppl to talk to about him! hahha! REally admire his talents! haha!

Since i'm talking about dramas..shall just keep other dramas included... blog serve as really good memory for me man!hahah!

Another really nice show that i've watched in Sept was Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (花ざかりの君たちへ) this is the Jap version one! wow! It was really amazing! Cant really compare with the Taiwan version of 花樣少年少女.. i think both are really not bad... they have their own uniqueness! But seriously i like the cast in Jap version better! haha! Nakatsu!He won the best supporting actor in one of the Jap Award Show!! REally happy for him! but tooo bad he is still a Johnny's Junior! hopefully he'll get his first debut soon!

haha! This drama is the biggest award winner!Maki won the best attress because of this show and the show itself won the best Drama for the 54th Television Academy Award in Japan this year October!

Another show that i watch in Sept! The title is Witch Amusement...normal... average... i thought it was fine... is the food inside that makes it more unique and interesting! hahah

Another show that i've watch it a few times is Hana Yori Dando 2!! It's really not as boring as Meteor Garden 2 (taiwan version)... serious
HYD2 is like far more interesting and exciting haha.. fine... shall admit it
inside got my favourite cast like Jun Matsu!!! and Inoue Mao!! anyway just remember that Ikuta TOma also acted inside! hahahaha!! anyway this show also won the best drama at the 52nd Television Academy Award in Japan in May!

In the meantime i also had some time to watch Jun Matsu acting in another show called Bambino! It was really a different kind of drama that we usually get to see... It's really about passion and how he strive all the way for it... even if he had to sacrifise his love just to be a good spaghetti chef. So this drama shows a lot about being excellence, taking pride in doing the job that other people may think is less prestigious, never giving up and also many delicious pasta! hahah!! Bambino also won the best director and special award during the 53rd Television Academy Award in Japan in July!! and guess what?! hahha.. Jun Matsu also won the best actor award because of this show!!! yayay~!!

ah...almost forgot about this show! This show is quite famous now... i think... first watched in June..i really really like the OST of Nodame Cantabile! REally appreciate this type of music very much! very soothing! Is another very funny show not really about Love but more about their passion for playing music! hahah! many scenes inside are really funny and whacky types! hahha! i think Chiaki-senpai(Tamaki Hiroshi) really looked not bad! hahha... i think he also acted in another drama called waterboys..or something like that..but didn really notice him until this show! hahah!anyway, i think Nodame(Ueno Juri) also really acted very well!! haha..she's really spastic at certain scenes! haha.. i guess that's why she won the best actress in the 51st Television Academy Award in Februaury this year! haha.. i guess out of so many dramas mentioned this drama is the biggest award winner of 6 awards in total!! including best drama, best director, best musical arrangement, best opening and special award! Amazing man!

hahha....i was like God!! help!!! totally understand what the 2 teachers were asking..but something was just stuck in my throat... so really delayed 5 secs in answering all their Qns! What's worse was that my teacher was just at the next examination table...totally embarrassed that i answered badly! all my particles and sentence structures were a lil scrambled up in my mind! hahah...but in any case..it was really fast.. the whole oral test ended in 3mins for me! hahah! so...another 2 more paper on monday and wednesday respectively!

hopefully with the newly implemented ideas in the Cg, there would be more unity and dynamics from the girls! Last week was the first Cg that we started on the Fruit of the Spirit Campaign! It was really interesting...even though i wasn't there but heard from some of them that it was really well done! really see everyone's effort in trying to present their CG roles in LOVE! hahha! So i'm really looking forward for the this wednesday CG! woah! its gonna be JOY! hahah! really interested to see how each of them would come out with interesting and creative ideas to spice our CG atmosphere! hahha!

On sat, Earth went for service! she had her hair cut short! it looks cute.. i thought! hahah...this reminded me of Shern as well.... she came last last sat! she really look skinny, she was already very skinny, now even more... hahah! she's really disciplined in keeping a healthy and active lifestyle! haha... anyway back to what i wanted to say...oh...sermon on sat was really good! fantastic! even when there's only one verse to study from... there's a few thinking points that many of us could gather from! Like what's our ambition...what's our common vision? hmm...this really sets me thinking! what's my CG's vision? is it just to reach 15 and that's all??!

On a fast together with Xiang for our harmonising skills! its such a different feeling to fast and pray together with someone that i just to know better...hahah...i guess that's the power of sisterhood in Christ! and guess what i'm fasting for this time? haha! It's CHOCOLATES! My God! its realy tough...coz i'm working in a chocolate shop!! haha...but i guess i will grow even more this time! hahah!no chocs means better voice and more dependency on God and save more money for christmas present! haha!!

It's really great to serve God even when i'm back to school! haha! anyway thank God for every blessings that He has given to my CG! was really worried about their results...but God was really faithful to bless them with results that they've worked hard for! haha!!

This Month was rather quiet... not much activity as many students are having their exams, meaning some rest for me before our hectic period begins again!...well......actually i enjoy those hectic days that we chiong to serve GOd! i think it's more fruitful and joyful...nevertheless... this October was much on shepherding ppl, discipling ppl, meetings with the leaders...and tests...haha! really trying very hard to scrore well! haha! just had to keep telling myself:"self, do it well with God!" (haha..startin to catch my Maths Lecturer's Lingo)...hahah=)

not forgeting some highlights of the month!

this month was many friend's birthday! Like... Li yin, Dai Xuan, my shepherd...Jaspig.. hahha... really sound like jasmine...hahah , Bryan, Earth...my dearest 地球! Happy Birthday to all of You!!!

Participated in a Captain's ball tournament together with hope friends and my secondary school friend! It was really exciting as it's really my first time playing with some of them! our team was made up of Carrot Poh, Liyi, Dewen, Junyao, juliana and me! hahah...was really exciting... even though we didnt get to win...but it was a great time fellowshipping with them! Got to see their working-self...hahha... indeed Godly-moulded people are different and unique in their own ways! haha!

We also had our very first Worship Workshop. Didn't mean to make it as a workshop, initially was just thinkning of training my own coreteam to worship lead during CG time. The thought of opening up to the whole unit came to me... so since i'm doing it already, why not open it up to the other CGs as well! Together with the 11 budding CG worship leaders, we discussed about worship leading, taught them spiritual preparation and voice projection. For myself, was a refreshing teaching and for them i hope they'll lead with better skills! Only until Sat, during worship in service then the thought of my vision came to pass dawned upon me.. Amazing? i was really very surprised to realise that when God reminded me of this vision some months ago.... just very amazed...Thank GOd for it... i think His plans are always so timingly! Haha!

Church Anniversary!

It was held on the 15th Sept! It was a great blessing for people in the East because this event was held at D'Marque..@ Downtown East! hahah! Wasn't priviledge enough to participate in the performance...but had a great time praising and worshipping God together with the whole church! Had a amazing feeling when i saw everyone...since when did the church grew so many in numbers?! haha!

JUMP! Jesus U Must Praise!

It was a Worship Workshop-cum-Concert conducted by the Thai Worship Team! taught us many skills, not forgetting the fundamental of why we worship! So..it was really a great time "absorbing" spiritual skills and physical skills from them! hahah!!

This time round I participated in the Concert!! haha..We sang many songs including those composed by Hope! Altogether was about 15 songs? hahha...really tough for me to memorise all the lyrics! haha...but thank God that Touch theatre has a Mediaboard for Lyrics right at the back of the theatre! But because of MY Ugly Friend's spirit of exellence...when operating the smoke machine... it was too smoky on stage, so couldn't really see the lyrics! thanks to kim for "rocking" my hair!! hahha! thanks to Li jun for the make-up! hahah! Really thank god for u guys! even though it ended late that night, nevertheless, i felt the strong presence of God Working throughout the whole congregation! So, who can say God is not Real?! haha.=D

It was also the month of Exams for my CG girls! taking their promos...all of them were so anxious...and worried... just like how i were when i was in J1! haha...despite exams jitters...they kept God's strength with them! i see their growth in dependency for God! Praise God for their Good results as well! after working so hard..God sees their effort and really bless them with what they deserve! 100% from us for God, 200% in results from God!!

time really flies... it's almost to the end of Q3 already!

afterall, serving God requires the most time and effort but the Joy from it, is also irreplaceable(is there such word? nvm.. mau(dictio)nary!)

Shall start from July...

Yeo-yeo chan came back to help conduct guitar course for my CG.. haha..i'm still trying to master C, D,G,Em,A,Am...not tough... but just couldn't master it well..

My first visit to settler's Cafe! was really very fun..too bad no pictures.. haha!! Ugly, Ugly ,Ugly!!! I'm the Boss!It was really fun to play!!! ahha..toally enjoy it!

It was also the start of Choir Prac for both Anniversay concert and JUMP concert! SO basically it's another chance for me to learn parts for lots of songs!!! haha! so much easier than catching parts on my own! heehee...

Also, some preparation for Hope Run!

Before everything ends, my school is starting...meaning..orientation camp is coming as well..yay! i have pictures! haha...It was really Fun at the SRC camp... however there was a lot of culture shock for me. Perhaps church has always been a LaLAla land for me..so really not used to worldly lifestyle. Speech wise took me some time to adjust, and also the way to relate with them. Thank God for the help! Nevertheless... i got to know many interesting OGmates. They are really a fun buch of friends i have in school now!

but one thing i really don't like about the camp was the Secret Pal thingy... i was really uncomfortable. I want to be firm with my principles, not just because the bible say so... but that's what i want to hold on to regarding relationship issue. i want to enjoy singlehood!

Went to Kota Tinggi for Odac Camp! really enjoyed climbing the rocks along the waterfall... too bad, i got short legs...it was tought to climb over fallen tree trunks haha... like that also need help... almost kill myself! hahah..but really really very fun to do trekking!

Last saturday was not scheduled to sing but had to take over kim. so sang. it was really challenging to have to figure out the parts on my own! somehow...i'm able to do it better now.. but still tough. requires lots of listening and filtering through my ears.

great! although August didnt start well for me, i'm glad i'm still much favoured by God! so...i give Thanks to Him! Learn a lot... Feel a lot... Experience a lot...=) Officially pass down thr RC fund collection role to Siew ling and Jac. It had been a wonderful journey to work with the whole team! Hope Run event has also ended. Went to helpout with kangli, liting and ah cat! It was fun and was my first time meeting Dr William Tan. He's the first to race marathons on wheelchair across 7 continents, 47 countries. Amazing? very much. Every marathon that he went through was tough, but he said HOPE kept him going on. Just like everyone, we face marathons in different stages of our life too! i would say that God's Love keeps me going on! what about the rest of the people? i really wonder...

went for corporate worship yesterday after missing it for 3 weeks. It feels really good! was my turn to be on stage for ministry. a lil weird... haha...perhaps it's been a long time since i'm singing on stage. haha...some hiccups during second praise...i think i forgot how to react so just "huh?!" and stood there when the tempo was weird. almost kill myself..hahah! Pastor Jasmine preached! " Getting Life on track" the sentence that struck me the most is "Good spiritual habits may not be good spiritual attitudes."

This song kept running through my mind for the last five days. It was all too sudden that my grandma passed away. I was caught in shock. Responded quickly when i receive the call from the hospital on friday morning, but it was still too late to see her the last time. i just felt numb...my mind was a blank. Just felt that everything happen too fast.....

She's a buddhist, so the funeral was plain and simple. No burning of papers. only joss sticks. there were chanting and some other ceremony. took part but not involved. The whole time i was thinking of my grandma and God. I thank God for her. i really thank god for my ah ma... i give thanks for how much she had loved me, how much she had taken care of me

whenever i went to my aunt's house she would prepare soup for me. She would deliberately cook a meal for me if she knows i'm going.......but never will it happen again.....

tried very hard to control my tears...kept asking god to hold back my tears... but it was really difficult... i keep thinking of her...while walking, while eating, while studying, while sleeping. i guess... i really miss her a lot.

yesterday... was really a tiring day... couldn't sleep well... the last walk to send her off.... during the cremation, it was tough... everyone was exceptionally quiet throughout the whole thing... i didnt want to talk...i just kept praying, keep asking God for help.

just wanna thank shi min, huiqi, kim, xinying, jesline, seng kim, liyi, liping, hanyun, sherli tan, jasmine, raphael, apinun, kangli, liting for coming down to the wake to accompany me in the midst of all your busy schedules.

God Gave

God gave me His love

it was during early April when i stopped blogging.... now is August already half way through Q3, still blogging for Q2.Wow! Its 4 months long since i last blogged. Many things happened just within this few months. WOrk. Thai Camp. RC matters. My birthday. June camp. New Jc district. New CG. Every event that happened i see how God works. Many new revelations. Many new doubts. Much faith was added though.

Thai Camp left the deepest impressions in me though. Heard God's calling for me. It was so real that it was almost difficult to run away... tried to. But failed. deceided to do my best for now...and whatever and wherever that god has open the door for me to go, i'll be there and say "I'm ready!" I talked to many people too... patiently listening to their testimonies. one similarity, once was lost but now founded by God's purpose. Powerful? indeed.

Then came my bdae. there was really a lot of celebrations. one with family.. hehee... went to eat my fav food! Korean Cuisine! it was really super duper ultimate great!! haha! i love it! yeah. mum gave me ang bao(yay!), brother(s?) gave me one quite cute-tortoise-stuck-in-a-tub.

Then came 2 horrible buddy who came to scare me just before midnight! they stood behind my bedroom door. so after my bath, was whistling in...and...*SCREAAAAM~~!* ... ... ... ... ... silence. we just stared at one another, i guess all of us got a scare...by my scream. ROFL! thanks to Kim and Liyi, totally appreciate it! another once in a lifetime experience! haha!

Another celebration was with my new CG during the camp! they were also very cheeky, so got me! another surprise! haha! the most funny thing was the card and one full cup of M&Ms!! haha, there was a fake cockroach attached to the card as well.... ha!

3rd one was together with Apinun during Our Unit CL retreat! hahha! they cooked a really good meal for me!!! and fot the first time, the candle was those special type one! hahah!

We've at last come together as one whole JC ministry! so now we're no longer belonging to East..so now my CG is called JCEA1!

My June Camp with My new CG!!

saw how God moved in my CG. From a CG that seldom interact with one another that opened up and stayed up late at night to chat! God also answered many of their prayers, making sure they heard His calling for them! So...JCEA1!! here we go..we may start small but NEVER will we end small!!! I'm ready to be part of CG^08!! haha!!

thoughts for Q2: Though at many times, schedules are really very packed, but it seems like God always make a way out for me to take a breather so that i can experience much more with him. Handling God's work may not be a bed of roses, however i've realised that as long as He's in the center of it all, things fall back to their rightful places! Living Life to the fullest indeed is the greatest reward for Serving in God's Kingdom! Whee~~!

Although thai camp ended... another exciting journey with god has begun.....vroooom~

Joy manage to link up with this thai sister called Tookta. so we decided to visit her cgs! woah! really fun and amazing! hahha!
Tookta came to pick us up, by God's grace the 5 petite ladies manage to squeeze inside together with 5 big luggages! Haha! amazing right?!

So first stop was to our Hope Hall in Khon Khaen..not too far from the campsite.

A never-had-before experiences.... 3 pretty ladies on a bike! hahha! it was really my first time on a motobike...i was quite nervous initially then..totally like the feeling! hahah! Tookta is really super zai!

at the ministry house we met a few sisters, all from tookta's unit!Nothing was unfamiliar except for the language. system and structure(even their ministry house look like our East RC) was same throughout all Hope Churches in the world...the people there were really very nice! they took really good care of us!! They are my sisters as well! lovely!

We attended their CG and help out during games and praise time. Language was quite a barrier, thank God for Tookta, Tar, Rabbit...for helping us to translate eng-thai-eng.
the 2 praise goes: "Walk, Walk, Walk, Walk in the light. Walk, walk, walk, walk in the light. Walking in the light of God!" " Jesus is my Rockand He blows my blues away...shoobedoo bup bup~~shoobedoobup~!"
It was really really really(x101) fun!Laugh until we roll on the floor! hahha! We also had worship and sermon D. Learnt many things even when it was just a short 2 hrs of fun and fellowship!

the next day we went to explore around with two other sister called Apple and (i will recall it soon:x)This was the nearby wet market! Lots of fruits...as well as crawly creepy reptiles? ewww~!

Then we took their shuttle bus called "Songtel" Really Cool! HAha!

Tookta came to fetch us all with a truck...totally squeezy to squeeze 9 of us!! hahha! gosh! almost exploding! LOL!

In the end me, sherli Tan, Apple and another sister went behind to have some sun tanning!
hahha! then i got to know that this sister is also a support singer in church...hahha..both of us exchanged some stories and experiences! Then...like what other singers would do...we started singing...same tune but diff language...this is the power of God's song i guess... still as touching and pleasant to the heart!

Then our last night with the Hope KK CG... so they brought us to a really romantic, warm and fuzzy chill out place to celebrate farewell for us!

it was really a touching session...we shared our experience in KK and what we want to do in God's kingdom! was really a fruitful trip!

Worked for my thai camp money just before i set off to thai. God is indeed good to bless me with this job that pays well! Even though wasn't very used to the environment during work...but God set me thinking with the people he placed around me. I was just wondering....God created us... all part of us... whether are we believers of him or not... the fact is God still created every part of us! The Mouth that God has given us are for us to say beautiful things, how can people just use them with such shallow words to speak. The mouth that we used to sing praises to God, are we allowed to say things that are not at all glorifying to Him? Maybe many have not understand yet.

Then it was thai camp! It was the best of all things that had happened throughout the last 3 month! Haha.... went with Yeo-yeo chan(zhixin), My ugly friend(Tan Sherli), Pillow(Huili), Joy... Just the 5 of us...girls....we were the earliest to arrive...not knowing where to go...what to do... we met Sister Neung who helped us arrange for a taxi. And our Journey begins!!! Wheeee.... God chose th 5 of us for a reason. It was not an coincidence! Never was there any coincidences in God's Plan! hahha!

Yay! finally we arrive at Bussarakam Hotel! It was said to have 75% of it workers from Hope! hahha! Even Tar(one of our thai sisters) works in here!

Haha...this is RuiQi, we've been having an unique relationship that God has given for almost 2 years! haha.. time flies... we've been through sweet and sour times, but because God loves us and is the center of our relationship... We were unknown strangers to each other at first, however her strength of being sociable allowed us to quickly become best buddy! Her sense of fashion is really WOW! haha.. i used to dress really sloppy...like big tee and jeans? haha...she introduced many styles that help me to better present myself at different occasion! Now i became more beautiful(must be humble..hee)! I appreciate and LOVE this sheep of mine! Great to have a sister that is even closer than blood-relationship like you! We're covenanted with Love!

She's a big fan of Jap dramas and Arashi! hahah... i've learned a lot from her, through her calmness in dealing with things. I'm also impressed with her perseverance in teaching her sheep Liyi. definitely amazed at her knowledge of the word! haha... now i know who i can really ask!! haha. It was initially tough taking her as sheep, as we're both on the different frequency, so thank god that He gave us a common interest(jap)... from there our shepherd-shepp relationship turned to the better! hahah... now i'm even studying Jap with her!! haha... So just wanna thank God for her uniqueness and her hunger to always wanting to go near to Jesus!

Earthie^my smelly sheep! haha... yeap her name is earth... the place that we're staying on... round and big! hee... She's really someone with character... her attractive big eyes attracts me most..alright. she cant cook yet insist that she has the gift of cooking...i tried my best to give her the correct idea of spiritual giftings..but she never listen...so what happen?? she got diarrhoea! Muahaha..LOL...ah...cant be so mean...alright... poor thing! she's one of the many sheep that i prayed for a lot! i really enjoyed being with her... she never fails to make me feels cold with her very-funny jokes!brr... really hope that she can really grow spiritually moisturized... because i believe motivation is what she needs to make her gain that little spirit of excellence in her heart. Afterall anoitings flow..and with my spirit of exellence..i'm sure she'll catch all of it that was passed down! She just makes me feel like working very haard... don't know why..haha!

Restructuring results were announced on friday. it was the first time that the whole unit really get together and worship and have fun together. i saw many new faces..i know them on the surface but not personally. we have lots of fun and laughter. especially like once in a while that we get to play together with shanrui and edwin's group. It was a memorable one for me. worshipping...practising our farewell songs for those moving on to tertiary service...eating chips...and most importantly i got to meet up with my new CG! as well as my sheep! haha!

thanks for the time that we've spent together! it was really fun and enjoyable to be in the Grads group with Kim, Li Ping, Zhi Xin, Liyi, Jiamin(my hot babe partner), RuiQi, Sherli, Selina & Hanyun(our frequent guest!) Music is something that is close to my heart. Music serves as a satelite that is spread world-wide. Often i wonder to myself what does music means? I believe God has given many the talents to use music as a double-edged sword to deal with stubborn & hardened hearts. He has also wonderfully created music as helping hands to craddle people's broken hearts. He might had as well used it as a multi-lingual notes to bridge hearts of different languages. Music is another Amazing creation from God. This is what I Believe.

Many times... music bring healings..i've experienced that many times, especially with Praise & Worship. How to explain?...it's tough to... it's an intimate feeling that at the thought of it, i just wanna worship forever more. I feel really loved, really secured, really assured, and proud of who I am. Chris Tomlin & Don Moen are two great worshippers that i admire! how can they so readily lead us to worship? how? Because they truly sing from they heart? plus the giftings that God has blessed them with?

Ever since I entered Church, i've significantly less desire to listen to other songs in the contemporary world. I've come to realise that i've miss out a lot. so these few months as the k-wave and J-pop sets in... i've grown to like the music that they made! Recently..i fell in love with Arashi( mostly,Matsumoto Jun) and Se7en. and rekindled my own likes for Utada Hikaru & ken Hirai. I guess is more on the music that they made(their songwriter who wrote them) and the way they bring out the song that captured my heart.

Different groups and singers bring out a different feel to their songs. Each of them has a unique groove in the way they present it. Like Arashi, even though not all their vocals are good, they are able to bring out the enthusiasm and liveliness of that song, that makes people wants to dance with them. Utada Hikaru, has a powerful voice and almost a wide vocal range that can really brings out the emotions of the song that she is singing. Ken Hirai, a unique voice that is able to capture people's deepest feelings and rantings. He's real good in slow songs. Se7en is one of the very few korean singers that i favour. He can move, i like his vocal too! the way he handles a song, bringing the lyrics to life with his body movements. I think his groove for music is not too bad! haha..

i want to do more research on their music. i feel that different cultures produce different types of music...Interesting!

This is quite an old praise that i learn during CL retreat camp during last sat! haha... the camp was really refreshing! we played captain's ball and volley ball the whole night from 11 plus all the way to 4am..yes is 4am in the morning! I'm surprised by my stamina! to add on we even do the most craziest thing ever(to me la..), which is to have MacDonald's breakfast at such WEE hours! In any case it was a good interaction between the West leaders and the East leaders! We had lots of fun playing together, singing together and sharing our outreaching momentum in the different schools that we're leading. Didn't take any pictures because the camera was sleeping in my bag..=x oh yeah..another scary incident...went with shar to withdraw money, as we climb up the stairs a HUGE rat ran into our way!!!!! i was too shocked to even scream..quickened my pace and widened my zombie eyes, shar on the other hand was scared of the rats plague. That just shows how different our brains are made of..! haha!

Anyway..the retreat was a timely one for me... it was almost 3 weeks after A's result was out. It took one week for me to really get over the results that i've gotten. It was also when i was reassured of God's presence and realness in my life. I'll never forget that week when i was scheduled to sing on stage. God really spoke to me about many things. I just couldn't keep my tears from not falling... they just keep rolling down. It was the hardest time for me to sing properly, any song, any prophecy, and word can just spark the tears.
Now i still feel sad, but God is really good and i want to appreciate more things around me that He has created! So i want to Follow His Plans for me! no matter what i've really study hard and served hard during that period, so i believe what ever i have is given to me with a purpose. It just led me to recall the book that i've read...God's wonderful plans may not be the wonderful plan we've desired. i have applied for the school and courses..so the next thing to do is to find a job and wait for orientation! hahha:)

went to the library on thursday...only intending to return books...but was tempted to go in and borrow books again! gosh...always like that.....i really love to read! it's very enjoyable...but ever since i leave school... to find a good time to read is quite difficult....

(so cool!!! good evening!!)
can even type jap! hahah...anyway...was reading Connect book... the theme was Fellowship! it used to mean sharing life experience, but nowadays ppl just use it like a adjective? describing verb? to tell ppl what we're doing..but to me true fellowshipping is just like what the book says!

how authentic should i be? sometimes is just so confusing and heart-breaking that when we share something real...ppl think that we're skeptical..hmmm...nevertheless i still want to be real and truthful to what i'm doing! because i love Jesus! God is real...therefore the more i should be real if i want to be more like him!

another point that the book talk about was also about sympathy.... i guess i know how it felt... sometimes i get really burdened when there's such sharing sessions....i'll have a type of heart-gripping feel.......

ultimately i still feel that being real in the way i am and having the sincerity to want to know ppl will allow us to start building a stable relatioship with others. am i right? i want to be fair and not judgemental in the way i look at people...because God did not judge us before he loves each one of us, so what gives me the right to do so? satan? devil? God loves each of us unconditionally!

seriously...ever since Hana yori dango season 1...i've been in love with Arashi...especially matsumoto jun...and because of such a sudden craze..i became closer with my cg members who are also crazy over them..hahah! really excited! just finish watching Season 2!!! goodness me!!! it's really VERY very very nice!!!! Honto!!! hahha...partly why i took up Jap course as well... the songs from HYD2 are also very nice!! my fav artist...utada hikaru...she sang flavour of life!!! haha... that's why my love for Matsumoto Jun is like..on the increase... hahha! in fact... i like the whole team that acted in it... except for hanazawa rui (the one in white)..don't have any feeling for this guy... and for that girl she's kawaii ne!! haha!

anyway..shall continue some other time... need to prepare for worship during CG..and there are other much more things to blog...but those are too heavy to really type it out....so...

just had my Geography Paper 1...but i felt that i have done so badly... it's really bad especially for the essay section...

i was just so nervous before the paper that i kept having gastric for the past three days... i'm not sure why..but i'm sure it has got to do with some kind of emotional or is it psychology factor....called the stress monster! it has even caused me to 泻肚子 after every meal!!! urgh=(

i just kept praying..i just can't do without prayers...if not my 心会跳出来...so terrible! i was banging hard on slope management and coast management.... i did really half revision for hydrology and atmosphere as compared to what i've done for coastal and Rocks & Landform....

Guess what came out none of what i've predicted came out... when i first check and browse through the paper...i really wanted to cry and breakdown because none of what i've studied for essay came out!!!! oh my god!! i just kept praying i didn know what else to do but be comforted by e LorD.... but still i want to thank god that one question from our school prelim came out! so yeapz...can do a bit for DRQs!!!

i'm still very disappointed with myself because i've so much time yet i did not make full use of it and study harder... why didn't i??? urgh!! God shall have mercy on me!! i'm just so going to make full use of all my time and work even so much harder for Econs ang Geog paper 2...so that i can fulfil my dream of beating *J!!! Amen!

i'm left with 2 more subject to strive on...
i've decided to blog about my post exams thoughts..so that i won't forget how great god was in my most stressful period...hahha!
A's is one good and fast method for anyone who wants to breakdown and suffer from depression!
i remember it was really so stress that the week before exam..i would just start praying in the middle of my sleep... it would last for a while before i realise i'm still in lala land..a little scary...

anyway...GP is finally over... i did technology..but not well done... i was really very demoralised when i came out of the hall...when they say stop writing... i was whinning...but god reminded me there He's there with me... so i got better.... paper 2 talks about freedom..and amazingly during our last sat's sermon was on Freedom Business! hahahz...one part of the question asked "how free do you want to be?" i wanted to write.. with jesus i can be as free as i want to be! hahaz! Amen!

CHINESE is fally over too!!! i was like praying for god to give me more time for both papers... anyway..i didn't get to finish both paper 1 and 2.... i was really very stressed up that me and li ping started singing worship and praise and pray and try composing our own pop song just to relieve the stress that we're experiencing....

on a monday...
i watched a great show called Oprah! wow..seriously, it was simply too amazing and interesting. the episode that i watch happens to be how to have a healthy diet! wow... goodness me..it's so interesting.

on a tuesday..
which was ytd after my class outing... i met up with that idiot huiqi and kim! hahaz..although it was less than an hour before me and kim left for WAM vision night, really enjoyed every moment that i can spend with my spiritual buddies! feel really good and happy!!

WAM nite was once again refreshing and fun! this time round we had lotz of interaction with the other people in the other service and minitry! hahhaz..i talked to racheal from adult ministry, she's currently serving in the multi-media ministry! cool ritez... exchange some of our ideas in how we want the service to be improved.
that night pastor Law talked about improving event programming! so 5 points were brought up :
1. Creativity [gen 13:1]
- i came up with the idea of having a themed service!
-wow..at the thought of it, i think it would be so cool! really can imagine when one day everybody come to service with vintage dressing. including the singers, musician, sound, mm and our pastors!! isnt that cool..then we can sing all those very old christian songs..wow!! although is a themed service, everyone will still be praising and worshipping god... becoz god is just so worthy of everything! amen!

suppose to wake up at 8am...but drag myself up at 9am.. for the past two weeks really mugging like a mad woman!! arh~~!! suddenly so munb towards studies..surprisingly..i seriously like studying..is quite enjoyable..but i don't like exams..hmmm..i guess no one likes it too! hahahz..so dumb! suddenly thought of what "ms chatterbox" said to me.... decided to give her that name...because...she really can talk very long..i can never understand why she can talk for so long... and she's just another living fridge too! hahahz... i really appreciate the things that she had adviced me... really..WOW!

it's been a long time since i really blogged...
just went for ENCOUNTER camp! my objectives were 1. leading a spirit-filled life 2. be more loving and patient 3. nurturing a group of QUALITY god-lovers. yeapz these were my objectives..
after attending this camp it felt really different from the last two that i went to, not as impactful but definitely impacted deep inside my heart! perhapz i'm already quite familiar with the spirit..that's why in terms of teaching it didn't produce a *wow* effect..BUT i've come to have a few new revelations! it led me to think about HS..is not just powerful..but it's really something beyond my understanding and something so wide and deep that is amazingly within me and surrounding me! It leaves a feeling of undescribeable truth and magnificience(got this word?) about the god that i thought i had known.

What's most annoying is- how can i ever lost the last battle to the devil? why am i always sick during camp?? i don't understand! I seriously don't believe that these will happen eveytime during camp! i thought i was all healed on the second day..then i lost my voice TOTALLY...argh! hate the feeling! nvm...i shall persevere on and fight on and wait patiently for god's complete healing for the upcoming camps! in jesus' name..AMEN!!

confused yet worrying.
i'm lost with the tests and trials coming my way.
but not giving up at all.

just alone this week, no.. is two days, many things happen. i've no idea how i can handle, just merely follow the perfect plan He has for me.

firstly, i'm really determined to work very hard and glorify Him! i want to study abroad, which means huge sum of money. i'll save and really work hard to go towards this goal.

secondly, hanyun was really upset that her mum threw away her whole sermon notebook. is not just a normal notebook that contain words, but words that god spoke..something close to her hearts. i know how she feel yet there's very little thing i did to console her or make her feel better. God, may u keep her in good hands!

thirdly, i've been trying my best to adjust to the new structure. its gonna be tough i thought. anyway i love challenges!! hahhaz..so still not too bad.

forthly, just a receive a news from joel... it is enough to make me lose my appetite and sleep. there's no way i can just continue to live normally this few days. i gotta do something about it, yet i'm not sure what i can do...perhaps badly need god's annoiting. this thing make me wonder why i should keep myself so busy by snubbing into people's personal life. i think. i think. i argued. i reasoned. the conclusion is: i really LOVE god! i cannot bear to his beloved ppl getting into problems and leave them alone..furthermore...we're all in the same family of god! is because we have god in the center that binds us closely to one another. and love is ultimately the center of this bondage. i love all my brothers and sisters in christ, plainly becoz i love god. what else can cut away this love?

sometimes, i feel that there's a lot of things that i really wanna say in the blog yet there are too much that my mind just went blank. yes, blank. i can only put my hand on my heart and feel my heartbeat and breathe deep. not forgetting to say a prayer of thanksgiving to god. Maybe i shall try composing or writing to express my emotions. i might feel better that way...=)

really wanna thank god for the whole bunch of fun-loving, enthusiastic, energetic CGmates. they really chiong with me to the end. this is really heart-warming. at the end of the day when we don't see ourselves helping lost souls to leave the eternal darkeness, at least we see ourselves growing more spiritually, depending more on god. for the past month...don't know is it because of excitement of what god is gonna do in the whole MJ community or is it the worrying of the whole group, i just couldn't eat & sleep properly. perhaps that's why was sick. i feel so bad.. but in any case i'm really glad to see that god really blessed me with very responsive brothers and sisters! Deep down my heart i really thank god for them..no words can express this..but god knows it all! =)

anyway i'm not gonna give up so early!! there's still a long way to go... furthermore EASTER is coming!! so my group and i am going to await for the moment when we get additional 5 more souls into KOG!!! yeahz!!! really excited for that!
HITTING 18 TOWARDS 25!!

one of my sheep, grace just transfered to TP...will miss her...although didn really get to shepherd her a lot of time..but she's really a unique sheep in my life...through the sad and happy times we go through..indeed memorable!

come to think about it... i have 3 sheep now... they're each very unique in their own self... *han yun*, *ruiqi*, *shok mei*! haha...so fun to have sheep like them!

anyway..just received a major news from Jasmine..major restruction in east A...i took it quite calmly... was thinking about it before but thought it was ridiculous..but god once again confirmed that...really glad that i'm able to take up the role..but i need to pass a test which can be a big hindrance for me to face the whole group.

this week was bad. i was sick.
nevertheless i thank Him for blessing me with showers of comforting words from friends & sheeps!

not much sowing was done.sad.

anyway, was glad that my group continue to persevere on! thank god for all of them! wasn't sleepy at all.but my throat is very dry. very uneasy. it's nice to blog again! although not very sure what i should exactly say...perhaps just talk about how i feel now?

i'm really excited about what god is gonna do in my life, my CGmates' lives, in NBs' lives and the whole MJ? will we get a revival? i've been praying and fasting from the last week of feb till now..really anticipating for god to work majestically through all his enthusiastic workers like me!

With four sheep...mehzZzZ...under my care..i feel more blessed at the same time worried that i won't be able to cope...i want to give them the best that i can..however time is always against me! urgh~~!!! is alritez..i've learned better time management!

all my block test results are coming out soon....not exactly worry or what but more of a scared in a way to think of my 'A' levels... these will be the stressful days i'm gonna experience...one thing for sure god will be by my side to give me more strength! amen!

hmm...23rd March

its been a long time since i blogged. what should i add in? no idea. alritez. i shall talk about morning! afternoon! Night!

in the morning, in the morning, in the morning 8am....
just bought the pancake mix the other with my mum from NTUC. so decided to try it out! quite cool manage to get 4 pancakes in 30 mins! hahaz! i'm proud of myself! it was really nice!!=) moreover i finally get the chance to use the maple syrup that earthie gave it to me , when she came back from canada last december! the syrup was...hmmm..mama mia!
then tried to settle down my heart for the CLA exam in the afternoon. was reading & revising the analysis of each stories. got abit tired and excited over what the whole CG is gonna do in the evening, so just stop and went to pray & rest!
got ready for school! on my way to the bus stop was thinking a lot about my whole CG and the "hitting 18, towards 25" goal for mj! i guess i was too excited that i didn realize i was hungry. so guess what? i didn eat.

afternoon...CLA exam begun
was still excited over our evangelistic activity, but manage to think for the questions! thank god!! it lasted for 3 hours..but still couldn't finish.quite sad.

evening....yeah..evangelizing=)
i paired up with earth! really enjoy being with her. had loads of fun too! with god blessing throughout we were truly happy to have 33 new contacts! throught this whole activity, some were really responsive and fun people! really feel blessed in an unspeakable way!

now... as i'm writing i'm thnking about my 4 sheep.... what should i do?..........

yesterday was our "BE YOURSELF DAY" it was in tune for teachers' day celebration! seriously speaking was really cool..we get to see how we can dress the way we cant normally... hahhaz..so fun... wads funny is, we had to be in this "suit" to do Aces! tt's like so kinda wrong...hahhaz! our theme was SKA- meaning only in black and white. we decided to be casual smart in a funky way. so i wore a tie with collar-less white shirt..and stripy black pants!
this our geog teacher, Chrissie!....his expression is so weird yet funny! hahahz =]
this is Maxi..hehez..our GP teacher..he was nice! he gave us Hershey Kisses..is chocolatez!! heeheez... i like!! =] everyone pose until so cool..hahhaz!

it was very kind of our form teacher mr hon to order pizza for the whole class! guess which is him?...he look super kiddy larz! hahaz...wad a pose he had made!

.......i'm miXed.......
hmmmz.....yesterday went out for farewell lunch with vina! it was a great to see Xinying-Joycelyn-Peixin-ShiMin-Valerie-Adele after so long when they transfer out of YEA! it'll be my last meet up with vina..this year...my feelings were mixed...duno is happy or sad...
it was great to have it at Fish & Co..the service there was really wonderful!...hahhaz! most importantly in my heart i'm able to get shi min to meet and bond with us once again! hehehz! a lotz of photos were taken!

i didn't send vina off....deep in my heart i was really sad! i wanted but i dun wan to make her in a difficult position so i decided not to go! i held a prayer meet in school today instead... i was really distracted this whole day...i kept thinking of vina...vina...vina...my feelings were totally mixed...duno how she'll be like there... i am sad that she went to london..

hahhaz.... oh yeahz...must conitinue

hahaz...my mum, brothers, anuties..all came to watch me... not forgetting my class 05A301! *wohoo* so cool..they're all down at our last performance! this time round me and sze hwei actually prayed first before the start of our performance...hahaz and guess what...we did our best and god too did his best to make this last performance a total super success!

I didn't forget my lines or screeched! hahahz...improvements made! hahahz! wonderful experience manz! before we start i gave a speech..thank god no maorism... hahahz! during our singing...everyone was superly supportive manz...they all donated!! yeahz!! thank god for all of you manz! there was this lady..who donated..guess how much.. it was not $2...not $10...BUT $50!!! wow!! really nice of her manz! gosh when she came in front to insert the money into the box in front of us...whoever saw it... typical reaction... gasped..hahhaz..so funny..me too..i was singing half way... then i hurry shout "thank you" to her...totally shocked my her generosity!! while singing half way..i saw apinun..shocked to see him.. then slowly i say li ping approaching...then SUDDENLY...."ah mau".."ah mau"..."ahhh..."..."ah mau!"...i turned and see jas screaming like nobody's business...hahahz...so funny...amused... i guess everyone there just turned and move their attention towards her....hahahz!! super funny manz! shern and chia ling were there....surprisingly..JIALI and JOCE were all there to support me! hahahz!

MOST importantly must really thank god for MRS TAY!!! she's the best! was with us the whole day..and throughout our one month plus of rehearsing and practise! thanks for making us BEAUTIFUL and eye-catching yesterday(although i look weird when i go for service and CLM..hahaz)!hahahz!!

oh yeahz...amother important thing is...*drum rollz*..hehehz..i attended CLM!!! yeahz! now as a functioning CL was really...wow...now i know how seng kim felt...ahahhaz! i ran to america room straight after my performance... late for half an hour lehz,of coz must run!...when i enter... sudden silence everybody stared at me..hahahz...maybe weirded by my thick make-up...hahahz! so no choice...room totally filled so have to go to the side..and sit beside west peepz..initially felt a bit lost..and lonely... then they were so nice...the whole bunch just turn and wave at me... my niang de niang pass me chocolates!! hehehz! she also waved at me!! but i think she doesn't recognise me as my shepherd's sheep larz... nvm i recognise her can already! first time going for CLM was fun..learn a lot from a different perspective.. they teach us in a way more "chim"..hehehz!
pastor shirley talked about waiting... being patience with God's decision! so i guess... all i can do is to pray for my group! really hope to see our first stage of goal.. 2 more converts!!! but at the same time..praying for all my mDc Cg to grow spiritually! really excited for the concert coming up next next week!!! is a whole day event..with prayer meet and a praise and worship concert! like JUMP 2! is an event totally for NB! so no matter what must try to get Earthy to go down! not only that i'm gonna have faith that we're gonna have one more NB by then! hehehz!! school is really getting busy BusY BUSY nowadays! how come like that? seriously don't undererstand manz... the whole purpose of not running for the exco-committee is to not get myself all busy with meaningless yet purposeful stuff.... am i contradicting myself? nvm..who cares... as long as i understand...good enough. why must i be in-charge of so many things at one go...i really dread this type of lifestyle to be busy over this type of monotonous project. i know doing charities is a good thing but..sometimes the term "charity" just get on my nerves...*shivers*. doing too many of these activities can eventually numb our passion for serving.

But anyway...i'm still happy that i get to do something which i enjoy tremendously! that is SinginG!!! so cool...this is an unique experience for me manz! singing with sze hwei and joyce is definitely enjoyable and fun. we've gone through so much 'thick and thin' together to come thus far...i'm proud of all of us! hahahz! really thank god for Mrs tay manz...she's really really(when i say really it really means Really!) a nice and understanding teacher to work with! thank god for her effort to help us in wadever ways we need. so cool ritez? hehhez

today is an enjoyable day!! hehez...went shopping with my mum...bought t-shirt from espirit...quite cheap as compared to other items in the shop! bought a pants...so nice..i like it a lot...really!!! hahahz...most importantly..got 20% discount ...becoz i'm a JC student!! hahahz..i didn't know it can be a privellege too..hahhaz! thank god for those savings man!! thank god for my mum too...she paid all my stuff!!! yeahz!! yeahz!!

oh yeahz...i forgot i'm suppose to do a starting for blogging my first entry..hahhaz...too excited over those things bought and the discounts we got...! okiez well...i struggled a bit whether to start my own blog..then finally*pum* the blog is created. Kim reminded me on what shirl said last time..."record down our blessing"...so i thought this is a good way to do so...*grins*!

sometimes..i cant help but to keep thanking god of everything that is around me..i really feel blessed!!!!so glad to have god in my life! gosh...wad time already?? i still haven't start on my GP essay yet...gosh..gonna be so dead! hahahz...later must go blog on YEA blog..must try to make it more lively!! hahahz!! wahz i didn't know i have so much thing to say manz....
